PLANNING APPLICATIONS

1. Application No: 17/01220/FUL
Applicant: Mr & Mrs Robinson
Proposal: Proposed change of use of building from agriculture to a mixed use comprising agriculture (the applicant’s existing forestry business) and the storage of surplus woodchip for sale on to others as biofuel, incorporating the retention of flue (installed August 2016) for the existing domestic biomass boiler and the recladding of external elevations
Site Address: Kingstand Farm, Clipstone Road, Edwinstowe, Notts
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: Concerns were raised in relation to health & safety, particularly fire safety, planning history, and the effect on heritage of the site.
Councillors agreed that the proposed new cladding will improve the view of the building, but had concerns about contamination of land/water, access/traffic, health & safety, planning history & cumulative impact. Cllrs asked that residents’ written concerns be forwarded to NSDC Planning.
EPC DECISION: Object to proposal - unanimous
