17/37 WELCOME BY CHAIRMAN INCLUDING ANY ANNOUNCEMENTS AND INTENTION TO RECORD NOTICE

Cllr Tattersall opened the meeting and welcomed all present. Cllr Tattersall nominated as Chair of Planning Committee – approved unanimously.

Reasons approved unanimously.

Proposal: Proposed single-storey (self build) bungalow (resubmission of 16/00390/FUL)
Site Address: Land to the rear of 51 Lansbury Road, Edwinstowe, Notts
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: Representative from IBA Planning Ltd addressed the Parish Council’s previous concerns in relation to access and size of the proposed building. Highways were consulted and had no objections. Cllrs acknowledged that the new proposal is different to what was originally submitted and changes have been made to address original concerns. Concerns were raised that the proposed building is not in keeping with other properties in the village and this is an inappropriate site for back filling.

Applicant: Miss Tenny
Proposal: Householder application for single storey rear and side extension
Site Address: 8 Cavendish Avenue, Edwinstowe, Notts

Applicant: Mr Jackson
Proposal: Householder application for new build single storey detached garage and home workshop
Site Address: 6 Ollerton Road, Edwinstowe, Notts
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: None
Whilst the land available might be suitable for an extension, Cllrs were concerned that what is proposed is out of proportion in relation to the house, that the height and scale is excessive.
