19/P001 WELCOME BY CHAIRMAN INCLUDING ANY ANNOUNCEMENTS AND INTENTION TO RECORD NOTICE

The Chair opened the meeting and welcomed all present. There were no announcements and no intention to record.

19/P002 RECEIVE ANY APOLOGIES AND REASONS FOR ABSENCE

Apologies were received from Cllr Peck.

19/P003 DISCLOSURE OF INTERESTS BY MEMBERS (AND EMPLOYEES) IN ITEMS ON THE AGENDA

19/P004 TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL HELD ON 25 APRIL 2019

The minutes were approved unanimously and signed by the Chair.

PLANNING APPLICATIONS

1. Application No: 19/00923/FUL
Applicant: Crook
Proposal: Householder application for demolition of single story side extension and replace with two storey extension
Address: 22 Ollerton Road Edwinstowe NG21 9QG
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: No comments / objections had been received prior to the meeting. Discussions took place regarding the location of the property, the size of the proposal being 2 storey, and its boundaries. Edwinstowe Parish Council noted the following regarding the application. Query regarding the size of the extension not in relation to height but the overall size of the extension in relation to the original property footprint.
EPC DECISION: Edwinstowe Parish Council unanimously supports the proposal.

2. Application No: 19/00859/FUL
Applicant: Mr & Mrs Stanley Lippeatt
Proposal: Householder application for demolition of existing conservatory and replace with new conservatory
Address: 60 Sixth Avenue Edwinstowe NG21 9PW
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: No comments / objections had been received prior to the meeting. Discussions took place regarding the existing conservatory and the proposal which is of the same height but extends further back.
EPC DECISION: Edwinstowe Parish Council unanimously supports the proposal.

3. Application No: 19/00982/FUL
Applicant: Mr Domenic Genghi
Proposal: New single storey 3 bed dwelling and separate garage (Re-submission of 19/00219/FUL).
Address: High Vistas 24 Robin Hood Avenue Edwinstowe NG21 9LG
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: No comments / objections had been received prior to the meeting. Residents from the neighbouring property thanked Edwinstowe Parish Council for supporting their concerns regarding application number 19/00219/FUL. They informed Edwinstowe Parish Council they had no further objections to application 19/00982/FUL. Discussions followed regarding back land applications within the village and how the proposal could set a precedent to other properties. Edwinstowe Parish Council has concerns regarding back land development, proximity of the proposal in relation to Abbey Road and the proposals boundary in relation to neighbouring property number 22.
EPC DECISION: Edwinstowe Parish Council unanimously objects to the proposal.
