20/P07 WELCOME BY CHAIRMAN INCLUDING ANY ANNOUNCEMENTS AND INTENTION TO RECORD NOTICE

The Chair opened the meeting and welcomed all present. There were no announcements and no intention to record.

Cllr Brown declared an interest as he sits on the Newark & Sherwood District Council Planning Committee meetings.

20/P10 TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL HELD ON 6 JANUARY 2020

The minutes were approved unanimously and signed by the chair.

Proposal: Householder application for first floor side extension.

PLANNING DECISIONS

1. Application No: 19/02181/TWCA
Applicant: Mr Kevin Wholey
Proposal: T1 Cherry - Crown reduce in height and width by selectively reducing the long outgrowing branches by up to approx 2m, back into suitable replacement branch unions. Remove dead wood from the canopy.
T2 & T3 Holly and Thorn - Prune selected branches to clear the telecommunication cable by 1.5m.
T4 Holly - Fell to ground level to allow space for the Yew tree behind.
T5 Sycamore - Crown lift low limbs over the adjacent drive to clear the telecommunication cables by 1.5m.
T6 Thorn - Reduce back the branches growing towards the house by up to 1.5m, pruning back to suitable replacement unions.
