| The
official switching on event took place on 4th December, with a
lantern parade from Forest Corner to High Street and carol singing
by the children of King Edwin’s and St Mary’s Primary
Schools accompanied by Thoresby Youth Band.
The Reindeer,
er, sorry! The Reverend Alistair Littlewood counts down and throws
the switch to light up Edwinstowe for Christmas.

Two,
One.......
...... and
as with all well organised events, there was a slight hitch and
a short delay while a technical fault was quickly rectified and
Edwinstowe was officially declared ready for Christmas!
