friendly group of artists and greeting card makers. We have demonstrations,
tuition and are always pleased to share our ideas and give help
to each other. We meet every Friday afternoon in the community
centre on Abbey Road at 1pm until 4pm. Entry £1 includes

Arts, Heritage and Festival Organisation |
The
Organisation, which was formed in December, 1997, is a registered
charity and a Company Limited by Guarantee, and organises and operates
a variety of events at various times of the year based on Performing,
Creative, Visual and Musical Arts, for the cultural and environmental
education and pleasure of all, whether they are local residents
or visitors to our beautiful and historically famous area of Sherwood
Forest. Through these activities it also hopes to assist the regeneration
of this Coalfields Regeneration Area. |

Major Oak, housed in the former stable block and coach house of
Edwinstowe Hall. In the main building is 11 studios enclosed by
a glass atrium and outside 5 studios are grouped around a courtyard.
Small picnic area, 16 workshops and a restaurant. Offers unique
but practical gifts for the house and garden. Special events throughout
the year. |
