Angels Friendship Walk - Sunday 3rd June 2012
Starts
at Edwinstowe Cricket Pavilion at 10.00 am - This is a family event
and a great opportunity for a Sunday stroll. Our Friendship Walk
is not a race, but a 5 mile walk and a great way to spend valuable
time with friends.
Each
year we have encouraged and enjoyed seeing our walkers wearing
pink and having fun in angel wings. It is estimated that there
are 550,000 people living today in the UK that have been diagnosed
with breast cancer. To help us build a brighter future for people
with breast cancer, we ask walkers to aim to raise a minimum of
£20 each please. If you need any further information, please
contact Julie on 07973676950 or at Juliehallam@btinternet.com
. Sponsor forms will be available at Mills, Cinderella’s
Ollerton and Hairdesign Edwinstowe from April

Singers - May Update
We have a
really busy April, but have a gap around Easter, so we can enjoy
the break (and the Chocolate.) No time for slacking though as we
have an equally busy time ahead.
Saturday 5 May 2012 early afternoon, we are singing at a Wedding
at East Markham Church. I am so excited about this as we haven't
sung at a Wedding before. How does one manage music and a hanky
at the same time to mop one's nose?
Saturday 19 May 2012 evening, a concert in Laxton Church.
Friday 1 June 2012 evening a concert at St. Giles Church Ollerton
Saturday 2 June 2012 early evening a Concert for Wellow Jubilee
Celebrations
Sunday 3 June 2012 afternoon a Concert for Edwinstowe Jubilee
Celebrations. At the Cricket field.
Hope you
are having a lovely Spring. As I am writing this we are enjoying
some wonderfully unseasonably warm sunshine and enjoying all the
outdoor activities it allows. And yes I include gardening as a
joy!! I know we need some rain, but perhaps, like Camelot, just
at night. Let us hope for good weather for the Queen's Jubilee
and we look forward to entertaining you at one of our events.
